On June 27, 2012, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arraigned Cora R. Mureddu, age 51, with a last known address of 32 Newport Avenue, Newport, RI, for the following offenses: Larceny over $500.00; Forgery; and Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purpose. Mureddu was arraigned in Sixth District Court before the Honorable Magistrate Joseph Ippolito. Bail was set at $2,500.00 with surety. Mureddu was remanded to the custody of the ACI, where she is awaiting trial on an unrelated matter.
On June 27, 2012, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with members of the Providence Police Department, arrested Timothy DeBritto, age 26, of 17 Middle Drive, Apt. 2A, Providence, RI, for the following: 1) Affidavit & Arrest Warrant from Providence Police for Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Handgun); and 2) Sixth District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for arraignment on a Suspended License charge. DeBritto was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to Providence Police.
On June 27, 2012, members of the Intelligence Unit arrested Victor St. Hill, age 38, of 725 Branch Avenue, Johnston, Rhode Island, on a Parole Violation Warrant. St. Hill was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to officials at the Intake Service Center of the Adult Correctional Institutions.
