At 9:00AM, Troopers arrested Joseph Celentano, age 60, of 20 Park Street, Johnston, RI for a Providence Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Cost Review on a Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance charge out of the Providence Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street / Route 10 in the City of Providence. Celentano was transported to Headquarters for processing, then was turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Intake Center.
At 11:15 AM, Troopers arrested Lance J. Stifano, age 47, of 78 Oxford Street, Cranston, RI for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review for the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance- Schedule I-V originating out of the State Police Lincoln Barracks and 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay for the charge of Possession of a Weapon other than Firearm originating out of the Cranston Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6, in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to Headquarters, processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Peltier and released.
