At 4:30 PM Troopers arrested Chadney A. Gordon, age 35, of 972 Main Street, Richmond, RI., for 1) Reckless Driving/Eluding Police 2nd offence 2) Resisting Arrest 3) Assault of Police Officer 4)Disorderly Conduct 5) Driving Under the Influence subsequent offence within 5 years 6)Chemical Test Refusal-2nd offence and 7)Driving on Suspended License. The arrest was the result of a 911 call for an erratic driver to the Hope Valley Barracks. Subject failed to stop and attempted to elude police before fleeing on foot. He was captured in the cow pasture at 145 Skunk Hill Rd. Hopkinton. Subject held overnight pending his morning arraignment at 4th District Court.
