At 10:30 PM, troopers arrested Joseph Mattera, age 42, of 102 Shand Avenue, Warwick on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on a charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Smithfield Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of Coventry. Mattera was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution.
At 2:10 AM, troopers arrested Steven Kilgore, age 30, of 17 Hendricks Street, Wakefield for 1) Possession of a Controlled Substance I-V (Heroin) and 2) Driving in Possession of a Controlled Substance. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Kilgore was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and held for a morning arraignment at Third District Court, Warwick.
