On October 10, 2012, Detectives assigned to the ACI charged inmate Sean W. Johnston, age 34, having a last known address of 86 Glen Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, with the following: Fugitive from Justice from the State of Alabama. The Jefferson County Office of the District Attorney had filed a detainer for inmate Johnston for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Burglary II. Inmate Johnston was presented before the Honorable Judge Houlihan in Third Division District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Inmate Johnston was remanded to the ACI to await Alabama authorities.
