At approximately 2PM, Members of the State Police Intelligence Unit and ScituateTroopers arrested Edward G. Blyden age 45 of 52 Coggeshall Street Providence, RI for 1.) (4) separate Superior Court full bench warrants, 2.) Affidavit Arrest Warrant for (2) counts of Obaining Money Under False Pretenses and 3.) Reckless Driving/Eluding a Police Officer. Arrest was the result of surveillance conducted by State Police Detectives of a residence located on Lenox Avenue in Providence. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later arraigned by Justice of the Peace Capozza. Blyden was transported to the Adult Correctional Institution and held until the following day for a formal re-arraignment in 6th District Court.
