On Friday October 12, 2013 at 9:30 AM Troopers arrested Damion Young, age 36, of 100 Prospect Hill Avenue, West Warwick RI for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on a charge of Obstructing a Police Officer originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 3, at Exeter/West Greenwich High School, in the Town of West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.
At 10:40 AM Troopers arrested Shannon Spears, age 41, of 154 Pheonix Avenue, Warwick RI for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the Middletown Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the Town of Exeter. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and later transported to Second District Court for arraignment.
At 11:30 PM, Troopers arrested Miranda Thomas, age 33, of 35 Gadoury Avenue, Coventry RI on an affidavit of an arrest warrant originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks for 1). Driving Without a License 2). Obstructing a Police Officer. The arrest was the result of an investigation and Troopers responding to 35 Gadoury Avenue, Coventry. Ms. Thomas was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and held overnight pending an AM arraignment.
