At 3:18 PM, Troopers arrested Aalyson E. Cook, age 41, of 103 Linwood Avenue, Providence, on a Parole Board Warrant for Violation of Parole. The arrest was the result of the Lincoln Woods Barracks receiving a telephone call from the Rhode Island Parole Board advising Cook was in their custody. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women's Intake Center.
At 5:15 PM, Troopers arrested Aura Cruz, age 21, of 167 Eastwood Avenue, Providence, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of the Lincoln Woods Barracks receiving a telephone call from the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center regarding a female visitor in custody. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
At 11:12 PM, Troopers arrested Dwayne Silva, age 31, of 26 Violet Street Providence for 1) Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and 2) Operating on a Suspended License. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 north at Point Street in the City of Providence. Silva was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth District Court.
At 11:12 PM, Troopers arrested Shyniece E Swan, age 27, of 54 Cromwell Street Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 north at Point Street in the City of Providence. Silva was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future Sixth District Court date.
