At 2:06 PM, Troopers arrested Amy Clements, age 29, of 36 Crest Avenue, Lunenburge, MA, on 1.) 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay, on the charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting originating out of the Coventry Police Department; 2.) 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Technical Violation Hearing, on the charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting originating out of the Coventry Police Department; 3.) Possession of Schedule I-V (Crack Cocaine); 4.) Receiving Stolen Goods; 5.) Fraudulent use of a Credit Card. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Kent County District Court.
