On Thursday, November 29, 2012, at 11:15 AM, a Trooper arrested Ramaldo Morales, age 41, of 286 Chad Brown Street, Providence RI for: 1.) Resisting Arrest, 2.) Obstruction of Officer in Execution of Duty, 3.) Domestic Assault – Violation of Protection Order, 4.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for the ability to pay on an original charge of Domestic Simple Assault by Woonsocket PD, and 5.) Providence Family Court Warrant Reciprocal Body Attachment Non-Support. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop and foot pursuit with the passenger of the vehicle on Broad Street in the City of Providence. Subject was processed and arraigned at Sixth District Court.
On Friday, November 30, 2012, at 1:20 AM, Troopers arrested Fernando Torres, age 24, of 107 Abbott Street, Providence RI, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment the original charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting originating from the Cranston Police Department. This Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Glenham Street in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed then later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
