Hope Valley Barracks

At 11:08AM, a trooper arrested Linda Vanasse, age 60, of 4603 Old Post Road, Charlestown for 1. Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs-BAC Unknown, 2. Chemical Test Refusal and 3. Driving on an Expired License. Arrest result of a motor vehicle stop on Old Post Road. Vanasee was transported to the Wickford Barracks, specially arraigned and released into the custody of a friend.

At 2:47 PM a trooper arrested Brian Campbell, age 32, of 117 Brook Side Avenue. West Warwick on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay, on an original charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses originating with the Coventry Police Department. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Tiogue Avenue in the Town of Coventry. Mr. Campbell was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later arraigned by Justice of the Peace Suvardi and released with future court dates.

At 6:45pm, a trooper arrested Peter E. Caruso, age 36, of 993 Plainfield Pike, Coventry for Larceny U/$500. Result of a barracks investigation of a larceny complaint by Trooper Lawton. Mr. Caruso turned himself into the barracks with his attorney. Mr. Caruso was processed and arraigned by JP Suvardi then released pending future 4th District Court dates.

At 12:30am, troopers arrested Francisco Vasquez, age 30, of 3 Beacon Street, Cranston for 1) a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay Fines on an original charge of Driving While License Expired originating out of the State Police Lincoln Barracks, 2) a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay Fines on an original charge of Simple Possession-1st Offense originating out of Warwick Police Department, and 3) and Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Bad Checks out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of West Greenwich. Vasquez was transported to the Hope Valley barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the North Providence Police Department.
