At 10:45 AM, Troopers arrested Robert Ahern, age 41, of 51 Bowdoin Street, Providence, RI for Failure to Appear/ Ability to Pay on a 3rd Division District Court Bench Warrant for the charge of Driving without Expired/ License originating out of the Cranston Police Department. Arrest was the result of a follow up on a separate investigation at 164 Linwood Ave. Providence and the Ahern subject responding to that residence at which time the subject was found to have the active warrant . Ahern was transported to Headquarters where he was processed and then transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Intake Center.
