At 2:00 PM, Troopers arrested Thomas Karneeb, age 45, of 175 Federal Way, Johnston, RI for 1) Possession of Heroin, 2) Possession of Crack Cocaine, 3) Operating with a Suspended License, 4) Providence Superior Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on an original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V, and 5) 3rd District Court warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Fraudulent Checks. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 East in the City of East Providence. Karneeb was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned, and transported to the ACI Intake facility as a probation violator.
At 4:04, Troopers arrested Steven Belanger, age 28, of 14 Pond Street, West Warwick, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Ability to Pay for an original charge of Receiving Stolen Goods Under $1,500 originating out of Cranston Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.
At 3:43 PM Troopers arrested Tarronce Stowe, age 18, of 108 Comstock Avenue, Providence for 1) Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and 2) Obstruction. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195, a short motor vehicle pursuit and foot pursuit. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and held at the Adult Correctional Institution. At 8:59 P.M., Trooper S. McGehearty arrested James L. Ellerbe, age 56, of 788 ½ Eddy Street, Providence on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with Suspended License by the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Pearl Street in the City of Providence. The subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Service Center. A juvenile was also arrested along with Stowe.
At 12:45 AM, Troopers arrested Tyrone Dale, age 42, of 500 Broad Street Apt. 313, Providence, RI for 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pre Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed. He was later special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
