Beginning this year the US Department of Education will no longer mail paper reminders to students who have not provided email addresses. The federal reminders are 100% electronic.
Starting on January 13, 2013 and running through February 10, 2013, the US Department of Education will email returning college students to remind them to file their 2013-2014 FAFSA form.
The FAFSA deadline for the 2013-2014 Rhode Island State Grant is March 1, 2013. Be sure to file the FAFSA by March 1, 2013 in order to be considered for the RI State Grant.
