At 2:16 PM, troopers arrested Lisa Gilchrist, age 35, of 16 Grove Street, West Warwick for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Operating on a Suspended License originating out of the State Police Wickford Barracks. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Maple Avenue and subsequent investigation in which troopers responded to the residence of the owner of the vehicle. Gilchrist was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.
At 12:48 AM, troopers arrested Joaquin Torres, age 25, of 6 Melissa Street-Apartment #2, Providence, RI for Violation of a No Contact Order. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Warwick. Torres was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending an appearance before a bail commissioner and being presented as a bail violator by a member of the Attorney General's Office.
At 2:54 AM, troopers arrested Anthony Navarro, age 30, of 466 East 188th Street, Bronx, NY for 1) Obstruction 2) Resisting Arrest. The arrest was the result of troopers attempting to conduct a motor vehicle stop on Route 3 in the Town of Exeter, the vehicle getting into a motor vehicle accident, and the occupants fleeing on foot. Mr. Navarro was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending an appearance before a bail commissioner.
