At 10:23 AM, Troopers arrested Francisco DeJesus, age 46, of 1079 Broad Street, Providence, Rhode Island for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Bucklin Street in the City of Providence. DeJesus was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men's Intake Center.
At 11:02 AM, Troopers arrested Michael Aguirre, age 22, of 164 Dover Street, Providence, Rhode Island on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting originating out of the Cranston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Aguirre was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men's Intake Center.
At 12:28 PM, Troopers arrested Randy Lempitsky, age 31 of 10 Spruce Avenue, Cranston Rhode Island on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Cranston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 south in the Town of North Providence. Lempitsky was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later released after posting surety bail.
At 2:06 PM, Troopers arrested Herman Arocho, age 32, of 560 Prospect Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island on a Family Court Body Attachment for Failure to Appear-Non Support. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Dexter Street in the City of Pawtucket. Arocho was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men's Intake Center.
At 5:40 PM, Troopers arrested Julio Garcia, age 38, of 46 Watson Street, Central Falls, Rhode Island for 1.) Duty to Stop – Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle 2.) Operating with a Suspended License. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a hit-and-run accident and a subsequent investigation. Garcia was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released. At 1:27 AM, Troopers arrested Terrence Gilligan, age 31, of 62 Pemberton Avenue, Jamestown RI for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs / .15 Greater. Phase I (.282) / Phase II (.273). Arrest was the result of a 911 call made to the Lincoln Woods Barracks reporting a possible intoxicated operator on Route 95 South, in the City of Warwick, while Troopers were assigned to DUI detail. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barrack, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
