Father and Son to be Arraigned This Morning on Charges of Second-Degree Robbery, Larceny from a Person, and Conspiracy

Colonel Steven G. O'Donnell, Superintendent, of the Rhode Island State Police and Commissioner of Public Safety, announces that today, January 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., in Third Division District Court in Warwick, members of the Rhode Island State Police Detective Bureau will be arraigning Robert Greer, age 61, of 690 Lafayette Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island, and his son, Robert Greer, Jr., age 31, of the same address, for Second-Degree Robbery (2 counts), Larceny from a Person (2 counts) and Conspiracy. These charges are the result of robberies the pair are alleged to have committed in the Town of Exeter on the evening of January 28, 2013 and investigated by members of the State Police Wickford Barracks and Detective Bureau. Additionally, Robert Greer Jr. will be arraigned by the North Kingstown and East Greenwich Police Departments in connection to robberies Robert Greer Jr. is alleged to have committed in their towns.
