Detectives arrested Howard L. Bentley, age 39, of 19 Anthony Street, Coventry, Rhode Island, on a Federal Court Warrant for Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition by a Convicted Felon. Mr. Bentley was arrested without incident at his residence and turned over to the United States Marshals to appear in Federal Court.
Detectives charged inmate Jason D. Thompson, age 34, having a last known address of 889 Pine Street Apartment 3N, Fall River, Massachusetts, with being a Fugitive from Justice from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Thompson was wanted by the Massachusetts Office of Probation on a probation violation warrant for Larceny from Building. Mr. Thompson was presented before the Honorable Judge Houlihan in Third Division District Court, where extradition proceedings were waived. Mr. Thompson was remanded to the custody of the Intake Service Center of the ACI to await Massachusetts authorities.
Detectives arrested Jon Hill, age 28 of 64 Sterling Avenue apartment #2, Providence, Rhode Island on a Superior Court bench warrant for 1.) First Degree Child Molestation (4 Counts) and 2.) Second Degree Child Molestation (1 count). Mr. Hill was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed and transported to Superior Court where he was arraigned in front of Judge Patricia Lynch Harwood and held without bail.
