At 8:22AM, Troopers arrested Jason M. King, age 38, of 8 Redwood Drive, Cumberland, RI., on a Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of motor vehicle stop on RT. 95 North in the City of Pawtucket. King was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and then transported to the Third Division District Court.
At 11:10AM, Troopers arrested Andreade Porter, age 25, of 48 Rand Street, Central Falls, RI., for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance - Schedule II (Crack/Cocaine), 2.) Possession of a Controlled Substance - Schedule II (Cocaine), 3.) Possession of a Controlled Substance - Schedule I (Ecstasy/MDMA), 4.) Reckless Driving/Eluding, and 5.) Driving on a Suspended License. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Porter was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and later arraigned at Sixth District Court.
At 1:00PM, The HIDTA Unit and Troopers arrested Keishon J. Brown, age 24, of 256 Sayles Avenue, Pawtucket, RI., on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay for the charge of Driving Without a License originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation by HIDTA and a subsequent residence check at 1133 Chalkstone Avenue, in the City of Providence. Brown was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed and later turned over to Sixth District Court.
At 8:33PM, Troopers arrested Kristen Maghuyop, age 30, of 65 New Road, East Providence, RI., for a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Payment Schedule on the original charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses ($1,500) from the Middletown Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 in the City of Providence. Maghuyop was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
At 9:52 PM, Troopers arrested Corey Perry, age 39, of 187 Oak Street, Providence, RI., on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Violation of No Contact Order from the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Perry was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution - Intake Center.
At 12:55 AM, Troopers arrested John Blais, age 44, of 88 Elder Street, Pawtucket, RI, for 1.) Driving under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – 2nd Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Barton Street in the City of Pawtucket. Blais was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
