On Saturday March 2, 2013, At 2:30 PM Troopers arrested Giancarlo Fermin, age 25 of 82 Sackett Street, Providence, RI for 1.) Driving while in Possession of Controlled Substance, 2.) Possession of Marijuana 3.) Obstruction and 4.) Driving with an Expired License. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 south in the City of Warwick. Fermin was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and found to be in violation of his probation. Attorney General Ahern later responded to the Barracks. Fermin was later arraigned by Justice of the Peace Robinson and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions.
