The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is on the scene of a truck crash on Plainfield Pike in Cranston at the I-295 overpass. Motorists should expect delays.
WHAT: RIDOT has closed the left lane of I-295 South at Exit 4 (Route 14/Plainfield Pike) to inspect the bridge following a truck crash on Route 14. Route 14 West is currently closed to traffic. Motorists on Plainfield Pike are being detoured on Simmonsville Avenue to Route 5. Expect delays on the Interstate and Route 14.
WHEN: Today, Thursday, May 16, 2013. Lane closures expected to last through mid afternoon.
