Providence--The Executive Committee of the National Lieutenant Governors Association elected Lt. Governor Elizabeth Roberts as its chair today, to fill the remaining term of Lt. Governor Timothy Murray of Massachusetts who stepped down earlier this month. The chair-elect, Lt. Governor Todd Lamb of Oklahoma, is expected to assume the chair at the association's annual meeting in July. In her role as chair, Lt. Governor Roberts will preside over the annual meeting on July 17 - July 19, 2013, in Oklahoma City.
