Colonel Steven G. O'Donnell, Superintendent, of the Rhode Island State Police and Commissioner of the Department of Public Safety, along with executives from MetLife Insurance in Rhode Island, will hold a press conference to announce the donation of over 130 digital cameras by MetLife to the Rhode Island State Police to further their investigative efforts to prevent and deter criminal activity to include insurance fraud.

Colonel O'Donnell stated, "The State Police is grateful for the assistance MetLife provides to law enforcement on a daily basis. They clearly recognize the value of recording an incident in real time. This will help the Troopers and MetLife streamline the documentation process for accidents."
