Multi-Agency Effort Results in the Arrest of Ohio MMA Fighter as a Fugitive from Justice

Colonel Steven G. O'Donnell, Superintendent, of the Rhode Island State Police and Commissioner of Public Safety, announces the arrest of an Ohio man as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Ohio.

At 6:45 PM on Friday, April 25, 2014, members of the State Police Detective Bureau, Lincoln Woods Barracks, and Lincoln Police Officers, arrested Joshue J. Killion, age 23, of 807 West Sandusky Street, Apt 7, Findlay, Ohio, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Ohio. Killion was wanted by the Defiance County Sheriff's Office for Felony Assault.

The arrest was the result of the Defiance County Sheriff's Office (OH) alerting the Lincoln Police Department that Killion was wanted on an extraditable felony warrant and was scheduled to participate in a MMA fight at Twin River Casino. Killion was taken into custody without incident at Twin River Casino prior to his scheduled fight and transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.

Joshue Killion was presented as Fugitive from Ohio before Justice of the Peace Bernard Lemos and was ordered held at the Adult Correctional Institute Intake Service Center. Killion will appear for a formal arraignment on Monday, April 28, 2014 in Third Division District Court, Warwick.
