Beach Closing

The Department of Health (HEALTH) has determined water quality at Oakland Beach in Warwick to be unsuitable for swimming due to high bacteria counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when areas are safe for swimming.

The following licensed beach remains closed to swimming: Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick. HEALTH officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the area is safe for swimming. Water quality analysis is conducted by the HEALTH laboratory or a state certified laboratory.
