The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Josue Nieves with first degree robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon. It is alleged that on or about January 2, 2016, Nieves robbed and assaulted with a knife an individual. The alleged incident took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Nieves is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 23, 2016.

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jonathan Phillips with 10 counts of first degree child molestation and one count of second degree child molestation. It is alleged that on or about dates between May 20, 2011 and May 1, 2013, Phillips molested two girls 14 years of age or under. The alleged incidents took place in Cranston. The Cranston Police conducted the investigation. Phillips is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 23, 2016.
