RIDOH Recommends Closing Conimicut Point Beach and Oakland Beach for Swimming

The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) recommends the closure of Conimicut Point Beach and Oakland Beach, both located in Warwick, for swimming due to high bacteria counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend reopening the beaches when the water is again safe for swimming. When a beach closure is recommended, water quality analysis is conducted by RIDOH's laboratory or a state-certified laboratory.
