On February 14, 2017, members of the Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, arrested Jeffery J. O'Neil, age 65, of 14 Jacob Perry Drive, Charlestown, Rhode Island, for Transfer of Child Pornography. Mr. O'Neil was arraigned in Fourth Division District Court and issued $5,000.00 personal recognizance.

On February 14, 2017, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force, and Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, arrested Gerald Bates, age 51, of 22A Summit Avenue, 1st Floor, West Warwick, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Fugitive from Justice from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and 2) Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant. Mr. Bates was arraigned at the Fourth Division District Court.

On February 14, 2017, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Kevin Pires, age 53, of 26 Clyde Street, West Warwick, Rhode Island for Felony Embezzlement. Mr. Pires was turned over to the Providence Police.

On February 14, 2017, members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Luis Ortega, age 27, of 123 Sumner Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for Larceny. Mr. Ortega was arraigned at Third District Court. Bail was set at $1,000 personal recognizance.

On February 14, 2017, members of the Major Crimes Unit charged inmate Anthony J. Brunetti, age 51, having a last known address of 34 Burton Street, Cranston, Rhode Island as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Brunetti was arraigned in Third Division District Court and waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Brunetti was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institution to await Massachusetts authorities.

On February 14, 2017, members of the Major Crimes Unit charged Jonathan Morales, age 18, having a last known address of 57 Power Road, Cranston, Rhode Island, with Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Morales was arraigned in Third Division District Court. Bail was set at $1,000.00 personal recognizance.
