Local elected leaders will be in attendance to hear concerns

Wednesday, June 21, 2017 State's Director of Veterans Affairs to Hold Town Hall Meeting in Burrillville

PROVIDENCE, R.I. The state's Director of Veterans Affairs Kasim J. Yarn will host a town hall-style meeting in Burrillville to hear from veterans and their families on issues of concern to them. Local elected officials will be in attendance as well. The "town hall" is one of a series of community meetings to be held by Director Yarn throughout the state.

"The RI Office of Veterans Affairs must have an active presence in all 39 municipalities," said Yarn. "I've already visited the town leaders of all 39 and am revisiting these towns as part of our 'I Hear You' outreach initiative. Please join us this evening in Burrillville to lend your voice to the conversation."
