PROVIDENCE, RI- Governor Raimondo issued the following statement today wishing Rhode Islanders a happy Easter:
"Today, Christians around the world celebrate the miracle of the resurrection and the hope and promise that Easter represents. Easter is a time to reflect on the sacrifices our loved ones have made for us, and be thankful for all we've been given. It's also a time to think about how we can use our talents to help those who aren't as fortunate.
"Easter brings all of us together, and reminds us of our shared responsibility to look out for one another. However you celebrate, I'm wishing you and your family a very Happy Easter."
