At 3:55 PM, Troopers arrested Kelvin Torres, age 18, of 70 Ella Avenue, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Simple Assault out of the Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor stop on Route 146 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
At 7:36 PM, Troopers arrested Sasha Galvin, age 19, of 192 Atlantic Avenue Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Larceny under $1,500, and 2.) Obstructing a Police Officer in Execution of Duty. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center for reports of a larceny. Galvin was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
At 9:30 PM, Troopers arrested David Gallegos, age 31, of 559 Manton Avenue, Providence Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence First Offense / B.A.C Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test and 3) Reckless Driving. This arrest was the result of responding to a call for a wrong way driver that struck a guardrail and rolled over on Route 6 East, in the City of Providence. Gallegos was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 1:48 AM, Troopers arrested Robert White, age 56, of 65 Mayfair Road, Warwick, RI for a 1.)Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving after Denial, Suspension, Revocation of Certain Violations, 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Shoplifting out of the Cranston Police Department, and 3.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of Warwick Police Department for Shoplifting. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street, in the City of Providence. White was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later turned over to Warwick Police Department.
At 2:39 AM, Troopers arrested Devin Slobogan, age 22 of 105 Mount Saint Charles Avenue, Woonsocket, RI, on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of Barracks investigation by Trooper Coronado and the Woonsocket Police Department locating the subject. Slobogan was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace and released.
