At 9:42 AM, Troopers arrested Philip Appiah, age 34 of 860 Warren Avenue, Apartment #B308, East Providence, Rhode Island on 1.) Superior Court Bench Warrant on the charge of Possession of a Schedule I-III originating out of the Providence Police Department and 2.) a Superior Court Bench Warrant on the charge of Possession of a Schedule I-III originating out of the East Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Ellery Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men's Intake.
At 2:01 PM, Troopers arrested Samuel Lonardo, age 63, of 1 Sanford Street, Providence, Rhode Island for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Scituate Barracks. The arrest was the result of a call from the Adult Correctional Institution Medium Security Facility contacting the Barracks to advise they had the subject in custody. Lonardo was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men's Intake Center.
At 3:09 PM, Troopers arrested Roman Castro, age 64, of 65 Ardoene Street, Providence, Rhode Island for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the Town of Providence. Castro was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men's Intake Center.
At 4:31 PM, Troopers arrested Luis Rivera, age 39 , of 32 Andover Street, North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Simple Assault and 2.) Domestic Disorderly Conduct. This arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Troopers at the Lincoln Woods Barracks. Rivera was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
At 9:07 PM, Traffic Safety Unit Troopers arrested Andre Smith, age 26 of 79 Douglas Street, Cranston, Rhode Island on Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1.) Domestic Vandalism, and 2.) Domestic Disorderly originating out of Pawtucket Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Providence. Smith was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
At 1:06 AM, Troopers of the Traffic Safety Unit arrested Roberto Collazo , age 32 of 64 Jenks Street, East Providence for 1.) Driving Under the Influence -First Offense / B.A.C. Unknown, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Orms Street in the City of Providence. Collazo was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
