At 9:22AM Troopers arrested John Medrano, age 25, of 217 Morin Heights Boulevard, Woonsocket, RI., on a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Violation of a Suspended Sentence on the original charge of Possession with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 95 North in Providence. Subject was returned to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men's Intake Center.
At 3:01PM Troopers arrested Alexander Brown, age 31, of 25 Windmill Street, Providence, RI., on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with an Expired License originating out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Oakland Avenue in the City of Providence. Subject was returned to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men's Intake Center.
At 4:21PM Troopers arrested Dana Leyland, age 37, of 5 Dix Avenue, Apt #1, Providence, RI., on a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Passing Counterfeit Bills or Notes originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 95 North in Providence. Subject was returned to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men's Intake Center.
