At 12:47 AM, Troopers arrested Cheri Joslin, age 42, of 1730 Elmwood Avenue, Warwick RI for a Washington County Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing Violation on the original charge of Felony Larceny originating out of the Narragansett Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women's Intake Center.
At 2:55 AM, Troopers arrested Matthew Smith, age 29, of 104 Ewing Rd, North Kingstown Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – 2nd Offense, BAC .15 or Greater (Phase I 0.178), (Phase II 0.160) and 2) Driving on a Suspended License – 1st Offense. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Davisville Road in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and held pending a morning arraignment where he will be presented as a probation violator.
