On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at approximately 9:43 AM, Troopers arrested Malcolm Sostre, age 27, of 160 Washington Street, Apt 3, Central Falls, Rhode Island on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original Charge of Driving with a Suspended License and a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the Original Charge of Keeping or Maintaining a Common Nuisance. The arrest was the result of Trooper McGuire responding to RITT to assist Capitol Police who had the subject in custody. The suspect was transported back to the Lincoln Woods Barracks to be processed and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at approximately 11:40 PM, Troopers arrested Jorge Torres, age 28, of 87 Morin Heights Boulevard, Woonsocket, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Violation of a Court Order on the original Charge of Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
