At 10:30PM Troopers arrested Kenneth Rogers, age 53, of 72 Wavery Street, Cranston, Rhode Island on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting out of the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of the State Police receiving notification of the bench warrant and subsequently responding to Rhode Island Hospital to take custody of the subject. The subject was transported and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution - Men's Intake Center.
