On Thursday, May 21, 2020, at 10:50 PM, Troopers arrested Elaine Varone, age 69, of 56 Maynard Street Apt #2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment on the original charge of Embezzlement over $100 originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and a subsequent residence check. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and transported to Adult Correctional Institution- Women's Intake.
