On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 2:47 PM, Troopers arrested Edward Burlock, age 42, of 15 Pearl Street, Mechanic Falls, Maine on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Reckless/Eluding High-Speed Pursuit – First Offense originating from the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of an investigation by Troopers at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and the subject being placed into custody by Capitol Police at the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of Peace and later released.
On Wednesday, June 4, 2020, at 3:35 PM, Troopers arrested Randall Rua, age 33, of 79 Rutherglen Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for Possession of Controlled Substance – Schedule I-V (Cocaine). The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Sixth District Court and subsequent investigation. The subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and the Adult Correctional Institution where he was held overnight pending morning arraignment.
