On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 6:20 PM. Troopers arrested Christopher Jones, age 32, of 15 Sumner Street, Stoughton, MA for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – B.A.C. 0.15 or Greater (Phase 1- .179, Phase 2- .174) and 2.) Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the City of Providence. Jones was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to a responsible adult.
On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 11:04 PM. Troopers arrested Paul Pereira Monteiro, age 27, of 467 Farmington Ave, Cranston, Rhode Island for Reckless Driving – Second Offense (felony). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. Pereira Monteiro was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future court date
