At 9:30 AM, Troopers and members of Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Nicholas Gelfuso, age 37, of 44 Vinton Avenue, Cranston, for 1.) Cyberstalking/Cyberharassment Prohibited and 2.) Indecent Exposure/Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and Violent Fugitive Task Force locating the subject in the City of Newport. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution pending a violation hearing.
At 12:20 AM, Troopers arrested Patrick Palmerone, age 38, of 124 Paradis Avenue, Woonsocket, RI, for 1.) Possession of Schedule I-V (Methamphetamine), 2.) Weapons other than firearms (Baton) and 3.) Weapons other than firearms (Throwing Knives). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 South in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
