On Sunday, June 14, 2020, at 11:30 PM, Troopers arrested Alfred Smith, age 26, of 143 Hedly Avenue, Central Falls, Rhode Island, for 1.)Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs- First Offense- B.A.C Unknown. 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, 3.) Driving with a Suspended License- Third Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the reports of an erratic operator and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Charles Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and held overnight as a Probation violator.
