At 9:41 AM, Troopers arrested Godinez Vanegas, age 29, of 341 Coe Avenue, East Haven, Connecticut for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – B.A.C Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of the Barracks receiving multiple phone calls for an erratic operator and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, transported to Rhode Island Hospital, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 4:40 PM, Troopers arrested Arrigo Monteiro, age 56, of 186 Transit Street, Apt. 1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – B.A.C Unknown. 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 7:19 PM, Troopers arrested Celeny Cruz, age 25, of 12 Atlantic Ave, Apartment #1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol and 2.) Reckless Driving. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and later released.
