At 3:20 PM, Troopers arrested Gregory Cartagena, age 34 of 65 March Street Providence RI for Simple Assault. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating an assault which took place on Route 95 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment where he will be presented as a probation violator.
