On Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 10:15 PM, Troopers arrested Adelso Hernandez, age 30, of 187 Melrose Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense - Blood Results Pending. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a single motor vehicle accident on Route 6 West in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by Providence rescue and misdemeanor released with a future Sixth District Court date.
On Sunday, June 21, 2020, at 1:11 AM, Troopers arrested Joshua Lavigne, age 40, of 22 First Avenue, Richmond, Rhode Island for a Parole Violation from the Rhode Island Department of Corrections Parole Board on the original charge of First-Degree Robbery. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 East in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men's Intake.
