At 11:41 AM, Troopers arrested Devanji Powell, age 45, of 655 Public Street, Providence, Rhode Island on a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Shoplifting, out of the East Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported to Providence Superior Court.
