At 10:45 AM, Troopers arrested Niesha Bessell, age 35, of 38 Gilmore Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charge of Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 in the City of East Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
