At 7:45 AM, Troopers arrested Rubens Francis, age 34 of 19A Centre Street, Apt. #202, Roxbury, Massachusetts for, 1.) Possession of a controlled substance schedule I - V, and 2.) Obstruction. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Manville Road in the Town of Lincoln. Francis was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
At 1:25 AM, Troopers arrested Eric Gorton, age 38, of 28 Grandview Drive, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs BAC Unknown- First Offense, and 2,) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- Second Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cemetery Street, in the City of Providence. Gorton was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
