At 9:31AM, Troopers arrested Yazmarelis Cepeda, age 28, of 33 Paisley Street, Apt. #3, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment, on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License, originating out of the Cumberland Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Baxter Street in the City of Providence. The subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
At 10:15 AM, Troopers arrested Joseph Baez, age 23, of 58 Warrington Street, First Floor, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine), and 2.) Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street in the City of Providence. Baez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future court date.
At 11:42 PM, Troopers arrested Kevin Reaves, age 26, of 8 Audrey Street, Providence, RI for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the charge of Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
