This morning, Rhode Island General Treasurer Seth Magaziner released the following statement in commemoration of Memorial Day:
"Today we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. They fought to defend all of us and to ensure that the promise of America will live on for generations to come. Let us remember these brave servicemembers on this day and every day, support the families they left behind, and honor them by doing all that we can to keep our democracy and our shared liberties alive and strong."
