At 12:10 PM, Troopers arrested Melissa Charpentier, age 57, of 2 Thomas Street, Fall River, Massachusetts for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V (Fentanyl), 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was a result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident which occurred on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Charpentier was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
At 1:08 AM, Troopers arrested Trevor Hedger, age 28, of 300 Lambert Lind Highway Apartment #439, Warwick, Rhode Island on a 1.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution - Men's Intake Center.
At 1:23 AM, Troopers arrested Matthew Andrade, age 31, of 52 Coggeshall Street, Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Violation of a No Contact Order out of the Newport Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Newport Police Department.
